5.5 opens a universe of sound. It's a deep and powerful modular studio
that sets no restrictions on creativity. More than 70 unique
synthesizers, sound generators, grooveboxes, sequencers and effects are
at your fingertips, with 3000+ more freely available in the Online User
Library. Customize existing instruments, or create your own individual
sound generator from scratch thanks to the fully modular architecture.
REAKTOR 5.5 is a true playground for the creative mind.
Reaktor Library is one of the prominent features of the software,
featuring a large variety of sound generators and effects that can be
used as stand-alone instruments, or as an educational resource for
backwards engineering. Reaktor 4 featured a library of 31 Reaktor
ensembles. The fifth generation of software came with 32 new modules
(though some were upgrades of Reaktor 4 Library tools). The libraries
provide a mixture of conventional implementation of software
sythesizers, samplers, and effects, along with a few ensembles of
experimental nature, with emphasis on parametric algorithmic
composition and extensive sound processing. Due to complete
backwards-compatibility between later versions of the software, Reaktor
5 users have access to all 63 proprietary ensembles in Reaktor Library.
Stereoklang are great fans of Reaktor and we are also using SoundCloud
to share with you what is happening within the Reaktor User Library.

The NI Reaktor user library is available for all registered users of
Reaktor, but not to users of the Reaktor 5 Player.

Reaktor User Library Harvest week 3
So I’ve had a long holiday from the Reaktor reports, but it
appears that the builders had with very few uploads end of 2010. But
now the uploads increases. This past week several FXs, two devilish
drones, a film FX sound automate, something unusual as a midi delay and
yet another Böhmy drum machine from Mr Keil. http://stereoklang.se/blog/?p=9807
Reaktor User Library Harvest week 48
This week includes a little bit of everything; an EQ, a ping pong
delay, two subtractive synths, a granular sample transformer and an
enhanced drum machine. http://stereoklang.se/blog/?p=7978
Reaktor User Library Harvest week 47
This past week there’s fair batch of effects added to the user
library but also a vintage drum machine and a nifty little synth. The
level goes and bit up and down on the sound bytes but your ears should
be safe unless you crank up the volume on the low parts too much! http://stereoklang.se/blog/?p=7665
