Saze launched her record label Dusk & Haze in 2017, with the first installment coming in the form of her own ‘Solace’ LP [D&H001], which included remixes from Benjamin Damage & Umwelt. The productions stem from techno, yet her musical versatility draws from a variety of genre influences, ranging from electro to krautrock, ambient to industrial, and acid to garage
Upcoming stuff from Little Dragon:
The EP is out on 6th August on Ninja Tune, and the Ela Minus (Domino) remix of ‘Hold On’ is available to stream/buy now. Speaking of her involvement, Ela says “Little Dragon has had a big influence on me, so being able to make this is an honour”.
The release also features remixes from Octo Octa, Midland, Andrés, Lil Silva, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Poté, FKJ and Little Dragon themselves–who deliver their ‘Vocal Celebration Mix’ of their recent collaboration with Moses Sumney: ‘The Other Lover’
Josh Wink releases the fine ‘Original Mix’ of Quattro II standout track ‘New Years Day Acid’
Ryan Lee West, better known by his stage name Rival Consoles. A British electronic musician who over the past 12 years has been releasing all of his albums and EPs on Erased Tapes Records. Musically Rival Consoles’ style can be best described as a combination of ambient, shoegaze, minimal techno and cinematic, all of it mostly created with analogue synths, pedals and degraded processes. You might call it avant-garde, we prefer to call it minimal techno. He now has a new single out, “Pulses of Information”, ahead of his return to the live scene. And you will probably agree with us that this single is an ear worm.
