Vintage propaganda and Reason 4
Most of you prpbably already know that I´m a big fan of asian culture in all its aspects and as I surf the web I often come across fun stuff related to asia and I think this site is absolutely one of my favorites – vintage chinese propaganda posters they are so cool I’d love to have one on my wall at home. The one below is a typical example of good propaganda, LOL

I also find some new reviews on the upcoming R4:

From my perspective, creating electronic music I’m most keen on exploring the new arpeggiator – RGP-8

Medal of Honor: Airborne and Sista Mannen På Jorden
Two good news that will delight my weekends the coming fall. Always been a big fan of both MOHAA and SMPJ (note I do not claim that they have anything at all in common) just pure pleasure – SMPJs pure and smooth synthetic analogue sounds and the vast impact of 1st person shooter in MOH (which for me personally has done the best job in making a good WWII 1 st person shooting experience.
Check out MOH Airborne trailer here:

Synthpop re-born (2 new tracks)
Surprise everyone, not only did I promise to release Static Frisco, but you will also be treated with another brand new song called BAUHAUS.
The critics already has acclaimed it as “maffig”, Swedish word for big, fat and crisp – well maybe not all of them and maybe not necessarily in that order, hehe
You find the new tunes here:

Tomorrow will be another hectiv day in the studio, during night time and than I´m off on vacation, so hopefully I will manage one or more blog entries before the weekend
Cheers
Vacation on water
Back in business after two weeks of rain in my summer cottage. One good thing though I´m a grass widower the whole week giving me lots of time with my musice gear. Static Frisco as I mentioned previously is now ready and will be up and running this week on my site and of course new tunes will follow shortly… hehe
In the mean time check out my friends at youtube “Rusty Trombone”

Killing time with Paris Hilton
Well another sleepless night here in Frisco and I am killing time watching US’s “TOP” story – Paris Hilton is out of jail !!! ANS she’s gonna appear on Larry King Live tonight – I CAN´T WAIT to here her life story and how she´ve become religious in jail……Woooow
The conference went well, well I haven´t made my speech yet – due today – but the discussion panels was, unusally enough, really interesting shedding some light on web 2.0, widgets, iPhone and more, although I cannot stand hearing these endless sales pitches from Symbian, Moto and the rest. I actually benchmarked the agenda on what Symbian was scheduled to speak on – and instead of answering any of his speaking topics I had to endure a half hour sales pitch, yikes
Well it’s good that they have shops like Banana Republic, Pac Sun, Wakers etc, that I visited before going to bed so that I could bring home some cool stuff for the family.
OK, back to checking my e-mail and preparing my presentation for today…..hmm and possibly an hour or so on my new tune Static Frisco
Cheers
Sleepless in Frisco :-(
Well after 12 hours on the United flight to Frisco, with the poorest onboard service I have experienced so far – you cannot even get a beer for free to dinner, they charge you 6 dollars for a beer !!!!
Ok so once here at the Holiday Inn I ended up in my room after a quick Ceasars sallad in the restaurant realizing I will have serious problems getting to sleep (knowing that it is 6AM in the morning in Europe. Well all negative things has positive outcomes – it allowed me to reherse my presentation at MAPOS and start the crafting of a new tune called Static Frisco, based on Combinator patches I have built up to sound like Juno synths (although I am not sure they will end up in the final mix yet)
Btw the Holiday Inn is not placed in a particularly nice area of the town or at least that is how I fealt walking for a bit in the neighbourhood yesterday evening.
Ciao

Feedback, pleeeaase LOL
Well I, at least, think it has a pretty good groove to it.
As I’m going to Frisco next week, speaking at MAPOS USA conference, I will also play around with some new tunes I made from the MicroTonic

Reason 4 in CM
Reason 4 announced – world braces for impact
It’s the moment Reason users have been waiting for – Propellerhead have officially announced Reason 4 on their website – click here to check it out.
As well as giving details of the new instruments and effects (including Thor, RPG-8 and the ReGroove Mixer), Propellerhead also announced they’re looking for Reason 4 beta testers, so get over there if you’d like to try Reason 4 before anyone else.
Other revisions include new patches in the Factory Sound Bank, signature patches from a variety of producers (including Vengeance, Tipper and Plaid), new Tool window, improved sequencer and tweaked NN-XT and Combinator instruments.
There’s no mention of improved sound quality, which is one improvement Reason users have been anticipating for a while now. While Reason 4’s new features look enticing, will they be enough for Reason users hungry for VST compatibility and audio tracks? We’ll have to wait until later in the year when Reason 4 launches to find out for sure…
