DarkDriveClinic’s new album release
And here are the details for this highly anticipated album: “Noise In My Head” by DarkDriveClinic. DarkDriveClinic is the collaboration of legendary producer John Fryer (NIN, Depeche Mode, Cocteau Twins, Him, This Mortal Coil, etc., etc.) and singer Rebecca Coseboom (Stripmall Architecture, Halou). Our regular readers will recognize the band from the splendid track “Breathe Shallow” which was featured on our massive “Face The Beat Vol. 1” compilation, bringing some more eclectic sounds into the mix.
“Noise In My Head” counts 13 tracks and is a must have for those who are into the typical 4AD sound that made the label famous; even the design of the CD is a clear reference to that golden era. Not really a surprise as John Fryer single handed created the sound production behind many of the label’s bands. The material on the DarkDriveClinic debut clearly was the product of a long period of sessions in which Fryer got the best out of him.
