Spectralis tutorial and demonstrations

Michael Dennis Raleigh has provided two tutorials featuring the Spectralis synth

Elektron products get a lot of buzz for having this unique ‘parameter lock’ mechanism, whereby certain parameters can be locked into place at any given step. I thought I would go through and show that this can be done with the spectralis as well (albeit, not as straightforward, but with more potential). I tried to make this as much of a tutorial as well as a demonstration of the capabilities of the spectralis.

In this video, I used only one oscillator (out of 4), one bass drum sample, one snare sample, and some filterbank sequencerlines. All of this could be easily done using the Spectralis mk1, as well as the mk2.

Need to create the drum sound? Follow the instructions at the website below, and route sound to the MM filter (instead of bypassing filters):

An attempt at creating some RT Spectralis guides/walkthroughs, as well as show some of the more in-depth features of the Spectralis. This tutorial only utilizes drum parts and filters and is only a small glimpse of some of the things you can do with this incredible machine.
