In their entire 40 year history, Eventide have never produced a processor dedicated entirely to distortion. All that ends this coming Monday with the release of Crushstation, a distortion algorithm that can be purchased for the popular H9 series of multi-effects pedals.
Crushstation will be available on Monday as an in-app purchase for H9 Control through the Apple App Store for $19.99.
Eventide are also releasing a new update to the H9 software that means that you can now use one of the two ins and outs (initially intended for stereo operation) to route audio to external effects. This effects loop can be positioned anywhere in your internal (virtual) FX chain, making it very flexible.
