The Monotribe looks to be a somewhat expanded Monotron (it adds selectable waveforms), as well as channels for “noise”, bass drum, snare drum, and highhats, all attached to a MIDI-syncable step sequencer.

Korg announced the product on its page today and judging by the pic above it looks great – an analogue little beast with what looks like a step sequencer and a similar ribbon style keypad to the Korg Monotron.
