Minimoog Voyager XL – Korg Radias – “End of an Era” by Andy Barrow

Background description:

Hi Everyone,

a moody piece using the Korg Radias and the Minimoog Voyager XL. Just 3 tracks in Logic Pro 9. Pads obviously by the Korg Radias – Who said the Radias was “thin” on sound? It maybe Digital, but has some great sounds if you are prepared to spend the time. Bass and incidental sounds, naturally the Moog. The Minimoog Voyager XL needs no explanation, it is such a great powerhouse of sound and so playable, intuitive and just so simply Moog. The legend of the Moog sound and playability lives on with this Synth. One purchase I do not regret, irrespective of the fact it is a Monophonic synth weighing in at over 5 grand Australian, it is such an awesome synth. I would have paid double just to own this synth.

Video was taken on my iPhone 4s at Central Station, in Sydney, whilst waiting for my train to arrive, sitting in my usual spot having a smoke

This is also available on my Soundcloud Page, free download in MP3
