Roland TR-606 triggers SDS-200

Here I show how I trigger two drum modules from the trigger outputs (hi tom and low tom outputs) of the Roland TR-606.

The drum modules:

0:00 The Sonor Mini Mammut is a drum module which can play 8-bit samples via rom chips. It contains a chip with a single sample. A cartridge with 8 additional sounds can be inserted (like seen in the video). The cartridge contains samples like guiro, shaker, cabasa…
On the panel you can choose the sample you want to play. The samples can be modified in many ways, including an analog filter.
Made in Germany, 1986. I added a delay effect.

3:55 The Simmons SDS-200 is a fully analogue module with 2 channels – 2 toms. It is highly tweakable, you can do a lot more than toms – even ring modulator effects. Made in England, 1984.

Both modules have trigger inputs (no MIDI). These two modules are highly tweakable and allow creativity.
