Sonicccouture has made their popular VA Brush Kit product available for free download. The 150mb Drum kit features mixable direct and ambient microphones, Drum roll emulation via the Roll Control KSP script, multiple velocity layers and articulations. The kit was recorded at Peter Gabriels Real World Studios in Bath, England.
Brush kit is available in Kontakt 2 + 3, Battery 2 + 3 format, and is taken from the larger VA Drums drum library.
Only wish I was more familiar with Kontakt…LOL
"Glitch Bleep IDM" Reason Refill
The “Glitch Bleep IDM” Reason Refill is the first refill catering to the leftfield electronica music maker.
Highlights include:
- Over 2500 individual hits, including Kicks, snares, bleeps, buzzes, hisses, clicks, clangs and glitched out stereo effects. Each sample has been level matched for ease of use and many have been micro edited for maximum impact.
- Over 400 IDM oriented rex files including baselines beats and effects loops
- Over 200 combinator patches including Drum Kits, multi layered Synth patches and Effects. Note that unlike some sound collections every knob and button on each combinator patch has been routed to something interesting for maximum tweakability.
- Over 150 Malstrom patches, 100 Subtractor patches and 90 ReDrum Kits.
While designed for IDM and leftfield electronica many house/techno, Hip Hop and industrial producers will find this refill a great addition to their sonic arsenal
