Musictable
The Music Table is an experimental composing system that provides a tactile and visual representation of music that can be easily manipulated to make new musical patterns. It lets people experience their own music as patterns in musical space. Patterns of cards are arranged on a tabletop to become musical phrases. Completed phrases are stored on other cards and combined as multi-layered patterns. Animated characters provide fun visual feedback as you edit and arrange phrases, making abstract musical structures visible and tangible.

All of the Metasonix R-series modules are used in this patch (except r60). Wiard Oscillator is main sound source molested by the yellow. The amazing R-51 vca provides the rhythm/clicky sound as well as acting as a vca. Sound of Shadows with A-102 in feedback loop provide extra delicious destruction on the output.

Analogue percussion performance patch experimenting with tripping the clock input to get different polyrhythms on the MakeNoise René. The MakeNoise Brains, K4815 Pattern Generator, Z8000, 4ms RCD, SCM and Pressure points are also being clocked with René from a single LFO.
Note: This patch was created entirely on the modular (No drum machines or computers used here).
Sound sources for the drums. One noise source from the Cwejman S1 mkII to make the long clap percussion sounds. Kickdrum made on the Cwejman BLD, and snare drum made from the Synthesis Technology E350. High hats courtesy of the Malekko NoiseRing.

Running a recently completed Morris Box through a new prototype. This will be the first Marsynth device with an external input for running whatever you want through it: guitar, vocals, other Marsynth stuff… anything!

Pie – 7up controlling everything
A little peek into the process. 7up controlling everything, even on the modular.
No audio loops were used here. The process is to actually play patterns into 7up using the manta and then sequence those back live. Because 7up is driving the modular, we are able to tweak the sound as we progress.
The main melody line was actually duophonic with two separate signal paths depending on how notes were struck. I used Expert Sleepers Silent Way in polyphonic mode to achieve this.
