Venom synth from M-Audio

December 26, 2010 · Posted in Uncategorized · Comment

M-Audio is going to bring a simple VA-kind of Synth – looks like it has a parameter matrix like Microkorgs and Desktop Evolvers got with 12 voices and 4 Oct-Keybhoard  in a compact exterior including usb-audio interface. the name: Venom

Looks like a low price live synth but more for the players rather than sound designers – but of course it comes with a software editor

An aggressive new M-Audio sound

Get ready for an aggressive new M-Audio sound. Scott Kirkland and Ken Jordan of the Crystal Method are talking about something wicked in the works over at Avid. What is it? We don’t anymore more than it is a synthesizer. They have called their “new favorite toy” and and say things like “something we haven’t really heard before” and “hard to believe someone went in and tried to do something unique.”

Check it out :-)
