Need the real sound of bells in your music?
Then this might be something right up your alley.
Bronze, Brass, Chrome, Gold, Stainless Steel, and Steel are just some of the materials that forged this library. We spent a day at one of the few remaining bell foundries in the United States and we rang bells until our ears nearly fell off. We hit them with mallets, clappers, and shook them with our bare hands. We also spent time on an old barge and percussion rental facility for rare and unusual bells.
Each bell was recorded from multiple perspectives . . . if you need a heavy attack or just a warm roomy bell toll . . . we’ve got it.

Lavalamps and Reason in perfect harmony
More lava lamp MIDI modulation.. I added some “comparators” to the arduino code to generate a set of 15 additional on/off controllers based on comparing the 6 continuous outputs. I put these to work on a reason patch where they are working effects and mix.. I reckon there is potential here!
So do we
Generate constantly evolving and changing music with no effort
SoundZen is a new concept for music. It allows you to generate constantly evolving and changing music with no effort at all. SoundZen uses a form of cellular logic to determine how your song evolves over time.
It follows 2 simple principles:
1. When an arrow touches the edge of the grid, play a note.
2. If arrows collide they must turn 90 degrees for each arrow they collide with
You set up the app by touching any of the positions on the grid, touch it again to change direction and press play. Using the principles above, SoundZen will take you on a zen-like journey based on the input you gave. Sit back, relax and watch as your song changes right in front of you.
You can also save/load your songs and we have some more features coming very soon including more instruments and different skins.
Note: While SoundZen will work on all devices, we recommend you use a 4th generation device for the best experience. Check out Sound Zen now for just 99 cents on the Apple iTunes store at http://itunes.apple.com/us/a…
Introducing The Choppertone!
A Live mashup of a classic jazz tune, performed on a custom-built MIDI controller. Nick Francis is at the controls.
Synplode – full convergence
Synplode: To experience the convergence of time and space, sometimes through sound and light.
This video illustrates the Synplode Project produced on a small scale. Synplode may be produced on a human scale, as big as a tennis court.

Rynth – realtime audio-visual performance
A realtime audio-visual performance:
Rynth uses parameters from real-time sound analysis to generate transformations and deformations of geometric primitives. Its dynamic surface texture is generated by incoming audio frequencies resulting in a synaesthetic surface modulation. The result morphing geometric construction pays homage to gyroscopic devices and anti-gravity mechanics.
Dome performance at Planetarium Artis, Amsterdam for Sonic Acts XIII – The Poetics of Space, Amsterdam 2010. Info can be found here: paulprudence.com/?p=63 and a review can be found here: paulprudence.com/?p=83

“Looking at Music 3.0, the third in a series of exhibitions exploring the influence of music on contemporary art practices, focuses on New York in the 1980s and 1990s. In this dynamic period, imaginative forms of street art spread across the five boroughs, articulating the counter-culture tenor of the times. As the city transitioned from bankruptcy to solvency, graffiti, media, and performance artists took advantage of low rents and collaborated on ad hoc works shown in alternative spaces and underground clubs.” – moma.org

the Organ Dronor
This project has been a long time coming, but the first prototype is finally done. Still some minor changes to be made, mainly around the filter and a CV input for the filter. Im currently developing a kit, contact me if you’re interested.
-2 triangle oscillators with fine tune knob for those tearing slow drones.
-2 triangle LFO’s with interchangable capacitors to set the range.
-LFO amount for both sides
-LED reflector rate indicators
-custom filter with resonance control
-on/off and volumesorry for the bad video quality, my camera is old and doesn’t like low lighting conditions. The audio was recorded raw into ableton live directly from the output without any filtering or effects.
