Swedish synthpop band Thermostatic has just announced that “after nearly seven years of making music together they’ve decided to turn the engines off” and that “it is time to move on, but they’re not sorry and hope that none of you out there are either”.
The previously announced gig in Gothenburg on May 1 will be the last and the band invites everyone to take part in the set list construction.
Club The Station hosts the release party for the Twice a Man album the same night in the same city.

New album from Thermostatic
After the debut album Joy-Toy the brandnew CD Humanizer is the 2nd album of the swedisch band Thermostatic.
Thermostatic celebrates the 80s home computer sound (Sidstation at work) and combines it with the charismatic voice of singer “Vox”, along with Kraftwerk-like vocoder harmonics and those amazingly catchy melodies - Thermostatic is playful synthpop in sweetest perfection.
Listen to the song The Box and watch the preview video in an endless loop, you’ll either get hooked or get headaches
