This is a complex patch featuring the Moskwa battling the Random Looping Sequencer in this auditory journey. Dubs and effects handled by ZDSP, Space Echo and some spring reverb.

Analogue Solutions Telemark Synthesizer V2.0 + Eurorack AS Spring Reverb Module

December 3, 2012 · Posted in Uncategorized · Comments Off on Analogue Solutions Telemark Synthesizer V2.0 + Eurorack AS Spring Reverb Module

SUB frequencies = headphones required…

Here’s a first look at the Analogue Solutions Telemark V2.0 synthesizer. The new release features the addition of a SUB OSC / DIVIDER as well as a RING MOD. The inclusion of these two sound sculpting elements have a vast and powerful effect on the overall sound of the TM.

As usual, the Telemark is being sequenced via the Oberkorn MK3 analogue sequencer (black face). The AS CVQ02 Quantiser was also used between the Oberkorn and the Telemark for some of the more melodic sequences heard. Transposition was done via MIDI.

The AS Spring Reverb module also makes an appearance serving processing needs for the TM.

At video end, a live melody is played atop a sequenced (Oberkorn) TM synth line.

Enjoy.

ArdCore Cartesian 4×4 Step Sequencer

December 2, 2012 · Posted in Uncategorized · Comments Off on ArdCore Cartesian 4×4 Step Sequencer

This is a demonstration of a 4×4 step sequencer Youtube alter ego Chisel316 has created for the Snazzy FX ArdCore Eurorack module. The top left knob sets the X position, the top right knob sets the Y position, the bottom left knob sets the CV at the X,Y position, the CLK input (yellow patch) advances the X step and the A3 input (green patch) advances the Y step.

“In the first part, I use both knobs on the 8nu8r to advance through the X and Y steps manually while programming the sequences. In the second part, I plug the X and Y clocks into the ES-3 which is acting as a clock divider sending out gates in 1 to 8 steps. For example, by patching the X clock into output 1 and the Y clock into output 4 the sequencer advances through all 16 steps in order. Hope you enjoy it!”

On this patch our Sequential Voltage and our Sample & Hold modules are controlling the VCF cutoff frequency. Later we used the second Sample & Hold output to modulate the Digital Noise frequency.

Ambient modular music: Phonogene, Synchrodyne, Piston Honda and Wogglebug

Cwejman MX4S is where all of the panning is coming from for each of the 4 channels. The Harvestman Piston Honda is making the static style noise on Channel 4: WMD Synchrodyne is making the semi step filter sound with help from the Harvestman Double Andore on Channel 3: The other strange drone sound is stacked audio out from the Wogglebug on Channel 2: And the Make Noise Phonogene is on channel 1. On the Phonogene I just hit some random notes with my Teenage Engineering OP-1 and recorded in a random off time loop and threw in some random slices.
