Reaktor ensemble effect – Particle of God
Max Pfetscher let us know about a free Reaktor ensemble effect, Particle of God, that he created as part of KVR’s 2012 Developer Contest. Particle Of God is an ensemble effect for Native Instruments Reaktor. The idea behind this effect is to create a delay where the delay time is accelerated. The single delays are getting faster (or even slower) for each time the delay is repeated. To get a “musical” result, the delay time and also the delay acceleration is synchronized in time and tempo.
Several parameters can be changed in real-time an tweaked by the step-sequencers. There is also an template for hexler touchOSC available.
“This is sort of another audio mangler that I am testing. It is by Noizefield Instruments and it is named Particle Of God. Again, and probably always, I got it free from the KVR Audio site. I would give it a 5 out of 5 voting points but the KVR Audio Developer Challenge 2012 rules say us members can give 5 out of 5 points votes one time only and I have already done so with the Boids plugin by ToneCarver. So, I am forced to give it a 4 out of 5. There are about 50 other free plugins to vote on and we can only vote a total of 5 times.”
Reaktor: Spektrumsynth – Wavetable synthesis
Initially based on the Reaktor Oki Computer Factory Instrument by James Walker Hall and Timothy Lamb, this semi-modular device includes stacked macros, S+H, 2 arpeggiators, 12 envelopes, 6 step-sequencers, 2 multi-breakpoint EGs, 16 syncable LFOs, 36 patchers, FM, oscillator sync, separate polyphonic panning for 7 individual audio paths, multiwave/wave-table/granular synthesis, 9 filters, 3 independent portamento processors, CC-1 recorder, patcher range modulation (unipolar and bipolar) for Macro control and many presets.

This is the first in a new series of Reaktor Tutorials that will be posted on flipmu.com. This video covers the different ways in which you can modulate a Filter in Reaktor, and discusses the details about why you would choose one input over the other.
The video starts with a brief overview of the test ensemble, and demonstrates the way different controls sound when hooked up to either the PM input or the FM input.
The second half of the video goes into the details of WHY you might want to hook up knobs and LFOs to the Pitch inputs, and hook up ENVs to the Frequency inputs.

New Reaktor FM synth by Salamanderanagram
Modulator began life as a clone of Ableton’s Operator. About halfway thru making it Salamanderanagram decided to morph it into it’s own project, but it still has many aspects that make it similar to Operator, the envelopes, for example, are quite similar to Operator’s. Modulator also features a faithful reproduction of the wavetables contained in Operator, plus he added a substantial number of wavetables from Absynth as well.
