Thanks to the wonderful folks at DSI, I got to spend some time with the new Prophet 6, coming out June 2015. Here’s some monophonic sounds I dialed in. You’re hearing just the Prophet 6, recorded direct, played live or using the built-in sequencer/arpeggiator.
I wanted to share my take on what the Prophet 6 can do. This thing is a blast to play and a breeze to create on.

Vectr 2.0 Experimental Session
Vectr pairs well with Make Noise gear for some experimental noodling. This video features Vectr firmware 2.0. Vectr is generating clock beginning with the tap tempo set up at the very beginning. The left Vectr is controlling the Phonogene on the left. The right Vectr is controlling the MMG filter and the Erbe-Verb on the right. The left Vectr is generating clock which is fed to all other module’s clock input. The result is sonic awesomeness. Make that with your plug-in!
Moog has released a new update – Sub 37 1.10 Firmware Demo
Moog today released a major firmware update for the Moog Sub 37 analog synthesizer.
The update adds a variety of step sequencing features, including step edit mode, skips, ratcheting and per-step mod sequencing; control voltage mapping that lets you control just about anything via the external CV inputs; and the option to add randomness to the oscillator tuning.
Video: Yesterday I got a note from Moog that the long anticipated 1.10 firmware for the Moog Sub 37 was now available. Today I scheduled time in my studio to install it and test out some of the new features. This update is significant because the bulk of the updates are new features! In this video I demonstrated step edit mode and quick mapping of modulation destinations.
