System 63 is a complete Modular synth with audio rate modulation and a host of Modules to choose from. this has been in the works for 3 years. with the recent update to Reaktor and the release of Blocks (which borrows heavily from the System 63 format) you can now easily inter patch between blocks and system 63 then out to your eurorack modular. Stay tuned for the release date and more information!
A bunch of Bento Box 8 Steps sequencers disturbing each other and controlling a Eurorack modular synthesizer. All sequencing and modulation coming from Reaktor Blocks, except for some humble human interaction. Maschine joins the party with bass drum, hi-hats, and rim shot.
All control signals from Reaktor Blocks are directly routed to the Eurorack modular synthesizer via DC-coupled converters (Expert Sleepers ES-3).
No quantization used on the hardware side. The pitch scaling in Reaktor Blocks (value of 0.1/oct) plays nicely with the ES-3. Since its output voltage range is roughly ±10 V you get approximately 1 V/oct. Obviously tracking is not perfectly accurate without calibration – in my case it was off 1 semitone over 4 oct.
Roland JD-XA Sequences and Sound Design
Here is iVardensphere’s first three patches on the new Roland JD-XA, details below:
It’s a phenomenal synthesizer. It sounds great and is really quite flexible. You’re bound to see some of this material on my next iVardensphere release. 
Best heard on a sound system with decent low end.
Patch 1: Primarily sticks to the 4 analog voices with the exception of some sitar and a little flavour sweetener.
Patch 2: Just some old school industrial, coldwave style. A mix of analog and digital voices for all percussive, rhythmic and melodic parts.
Patch 3: Strictly the digital voices, modulation and FX to create some really interesting rhythmic and bass driven sounds.
All the audio is recorded from the stereo outs and is without further processing or layering. What you hear is what you get.

Gary Numan re-issues three classic albums
Three classic albums from Gary Numan will be reissued next month via label The Arkive.
1979’s Replicas and The Pleasure Principle and 1980’s Telekon will get the reissue treatment on standard black vinyl on October 16. Human will play the albums in full at a series of upcoming shows in Los Angeles and London. The London dates can be found below and tickets can be purchased here.

I went for the Reaktor upgrade. This my first patch – of course a Krell-like patch :^) It’s a simple but fun use of a Monark oscillator frequency modulating a bento box oscillator. I’ve got an LFO modulating an LFO which modulates the pitch of Monark OSC + delay time of a Rounds Delay.

Ample Sound has announced the release of Ample Metal Eclipse II (AME), a virtual guitar instrument modeled on the ESP Eclipse I.
AME has a 3.5 GB sample library which is recorded each single fret. It features 8 articulations including Sustain, Palm Mute, Artificial Harmonic, Hammer On & Pull Off, Legato Slide, Slide in & out. The Legato articulations can be used to achieve legato notes of any duration, pitch and polyphony.
Ample Metal Eclipse II features
- Most widely used tuning (C G C F A D) in contemporary heavy music. Regular tuning can also be achieved by tuning up low C String.
- Strummer system specifically designed for heavy music. All chord presets and strum patterns have been remade for the context.

New experimental production from ::vtol:: silk
The installation is tracking the real time changes in the market activities related to cryptocurrencies Bitcoin and Litecoin – independent and uncontrolled by any state peer-to-peer payment systems. Constantly changing currency rate of of Bitcoin against major world currencies is influencing the strain of strings in installation and the way the picks are hitting them. The robotic system of the artwork is directed by a computer algorithm: influenced by dynamic changes of data, the installation sounds like a complex sound instrument.
Technically, the installation consists of two poles of 2 meters height. Each stand sprouts 5 diagonal strings which correspond to 5 currencies (US dollar, Yuan, Euro, Canadian dollar and Russian ruble). These strings are pulled on special automatic tuners moved by stepper motors directed by computer algorithm. Each motor features high precision of movement, which allows very precise tuning of string even with quite insignificant changes of parameters.
