Telemark and the Oberkorn sequencer
Analogue Solutions continues to treat us with nice demos, here’s one on how to connect a Tele-Mark Semi-modular synth to the sequencer:
HOW TO: Connect an Analogue Solutions Telemark Semi-Modular synthesizer (www.analoguesolutions.com) to an AS Oberkorn Analogue Sequencer.
This video covers basic connections from the Oberkorn sequencer to the Telemark synth (connecting: pitch x 2, filter, and EG/Trigger).
Another great feature of the Telemark is the integrated MIDI control, which can be used to transpose live sequences as they play back from the Oberkorn (shown in the video). This means that you can sequence the transposition via MIDI in your DAW of choice – control those analogue basslines!

So now my Monopoly owns a polyphonic midi-retrofit from CHD Elektroservis. 808 beat is done in Ableton. Theres a little delay on the sound because the sound you hear is the actual tape recording and plays a little slower then thza original sound. Not really special but I just wanted to show this monophonic midicontrolled polysynth.
Exploring the Pro-12
Ran Kirlian is messing with parameters on the Use-Audio Plugiator & Pro-12 plugin while running a sequence from Sonar. Delay effect comes from Pro-12, too. The Pro-12 is the first polyphonic and programmable synth to become popular also became an instant legend. The Pro-12 has all of its smooth analog sound and plenty of presets which were heard everywhere throughout the 80ies…

Maplin voice digital delay/chopper
Out of production Maplin Voice Vandal Kit in 5U modular format. Uses a Holtek delay chip and has a chopping section, that when swept, can give you a nice cross modulation/ring type sound. Noisy, yes, but unique and colorful also a yes. More info and schematics here for this rare, out of production module.

PS. Was heavily used by Dr. Who geeks to simulate the Dalek voices. Here it is heavily used by me, a different type of geek… Synthesizer Geek! More and less geeky at the same time somehow.

Exploring the Telemark synth
Analogue Solutions is provising us with yet another nice demo, this time of the Telemark synth, enjoy
Here is a demo of the Analogue Solutions Telemark synth [www.analoguesolutions.com]. All sounds in the featured song (including drums) were created on the Telemark. The synth is connected to the DAW via MIDI, and each sound was recorded on its own track individually. Most of the sounds in the demo were synthesized without the use of patch cables, however a couple sounds were patched on the fly to add interest.
Sunsyn 2 – an 8-voice multitimbral synth
Jomox has announced that the Sunsyn 2 – an 8-voice multitimbral synth – will be manufactured again, in a limited run:
The sought-after SunSyn 2.0 will be manufactured in a small run again. We have given a face lifting to our 8-voice bolide and prepared the partly difficult getting of parts so far that a new production is possible. That implies of course that the new one will sound exactly the same as the old one!

New effect-pedal sized modular synth
Flower Electronics has announced a new effect-pedal sized modular synth, the Jealous Heart .
The Jealous Heart is a battery-powered mini-modular synthesizer, powered by a single 9v battery. Disconnecting the output cable shuts off the power. Instruments are supplied with a set of banana cables for patching.
