PurPLe – new Radiophonic Modular Analog Synthesiser for Reaktor
EverythingTurns has released PurPLe, a “Radiophonic Modular Analog Synthesiser – Sci-Fi Effect Generator” for Native Instruments Reaktor.
PurPLe takes its inspiration from the early days of synthesis and is dedicated to the pioneers of the sound effects departments that terrorised the audiences of the science fiction silver screen.
PurPLe’s sound is generated by free running multi-wave oscillators, each delivering a diverse waveform that can twist and warp almost as if it’s alive.
The key to this sonic arsenal is the Modulation Matrix Patch Bay, allowing the component parts of the synth to interact with each other. The Matrix opens up endless possibilities of frequency modulation and interaction by tapping into, chaining and merging the signal path. The more you explore the more possibilities you will discover.

All sounds and music produced with analog synthesizers, drum machines, and fused through modern day music production environments. This video provides a snapshot of some of the sounds you can find in THE CAVE.
TrueGrid – Web based modular synth
ModularGrid – a site that lets you design modular synthesizers, based on existing modular modules – has introduced a new feature. TrueGrid is a web-based modular synthesizer which lets you create, listen and share modular synth patches. You can create your own patches by dragging cables from module outputs (green) to module inputs (blue) sockets.

Listen to a new song entirely built on the Roland System 100M
This is a demo from the Roland System 100M. The entire track was made with this system. As usual a multitrack recording + some FX.
Roland had offered 3 modular systems. The Roland System 700, the half-modular System 100 and this one.
Beside the large expensive System 700, this was more affordable for the customers…
This is the System D with the modules 112,121,130,140 and 150.
