Hot of the shelfs Röyksopp’s new video – Skulls

December 1, 2014 · Posted in Uncategorized · Comments Off on Hot of the shelfs Röyksopp’s new video – Skulls

‘Skulls’ was the first track taken from the album ‘The Inevitable End’, a song that comes with an invitation and a stark warning, set amongst squelchy bass lines and filtered synths.

Norwegian director and long time collaborator Stian Andersen made the haunting black and white film that accompanies the song.

It follows the ominous journey of Svein and Torbjørn with friends and 83 year-old Adolf into dark woods and dark places.

Animoog, iConnectMIDI & Ableton

Some quick examples using an iConnectMIDI4+ to run digital audio from Animoog directly into Ableton Live. The great audio quality of Animoog (coupled with the digital audio pipe that iConnect provides) makes for some great sound design when combined with effects like those in Ableton.

http://lcl1982.blogspot.co.uk

and now you’ve reached your aim
played again and won this game
and so you run away
round and round with love you say

but your living in shame again you’ve ruined your name again
your living in shame again you’ve ruined your name again

sit back tell him what you’ve done
tell her that you feel so young
and count my lie’s one by one
look this way see nothing’s been done

but you can’t fool the girl
you can’t change the way she is
no you can’t fool the girl
you can’t stop the way she feel’s

should i listen to your voice
should i ask you for my choice
say to me you’ll take his care
in your heart and keep it there

but you can’t fool the girl
you can’t change the way she is
you can’t fool the girl
you can’t stop the way she feel’s

your trying so hard just to feel so young x6

Space Effects Created Entirely on an iPad

November 29, 2014 · Posted in Uncategorized · Comments Off on Space Effects Created Entirely on an iPad

Are iPads only good for consuming media? I don’t think so!

Everything you see here was created on an iPad Air (first generation), mostly using Sprite Dancer, a great animation app that reminds me of After Effects version 2.0 — 15 or 20 years ago! Other apps used include Procreate, iDraw, FluidFX, Plastic, the iPad Camera, and more. All of the music was created on the iPad using GarageBand, AudioBus, Animoog, Sunrizer, Korg iElectribe, and more.

Oberheim Synthesizers the system 1983 DMX DSX OBX A part 1&2

Oberheim Synthesizers the system 1983 DMX DSX OBX A part 1&2

The sequencer dsx controls by computer interface the synthesizer obxa (in split mode) and the dmx drum machine control the dsx in sync live, no midi used in this video, just like in 1983, more feeling, the video is in sync with the music , so the note counter is real live , oberheim the system is my favorite machines.

thanks to electrongates for the old clap & clic voice card i use in the dmx instead of the second tom voice card , 2 toms card is too much in the basic dmx, like that , i have the perfect drum machine.
