Monotron feedback loop
Looping the output of the monotron back into the input give you a simple feedback loop – going to splice more in later to get a bit of control, but in the meantime you can get an idea of how to push the filter even further!

Going polyphonic with the Moog Slim Phatty and Little Phatty
Here’s what they have to say about it:
Both the Moog Little Phatty keyboard and the Slim Phatty module are monophonic instruments, but chain them together with MIDI and you can create a polyphonic Moog system! I wish we had more Slim Phatties lying around but at time of writing are currently sold out :’~|
That’s a good thing though, right? If you have one of these synths (or a Voyager which can also be chained), and know someone else who does too, get over there and try this out!
Anyhow. This vid is unfortunately in mono (onboard camera sound too), and most certainly not a musical statement, as we had just received the Slim Phatty and I was just testing that the setup works! I had individual synths to individual speakers and in stereo, in person, it sounded AMAZING. You’ll have to forgive my complete inability to play a keyboard. God bless MIDI. And Dr Bob Moog.

Rhythm Core Alpha for Nintendo DSiWare
This is a quick demo of building a song from scratch using the new version of Rhythm Core Alpha, released in the Nintendo DSiWare Shop for 500 Nintendo Points in Europe, the UK, and Australia on January 21st, 2011.
Rhythm Core Alpha is the most advanced music creation system for the Nintendo DSi, It includes a loop sequencer, a pattern sequencer, and a unique solo mode that let’s you solo along with your sequences. You can even change the key of your sequences using the +Control Pad, or use the buttons to jump to different parts of the song. Not only is it the easiest sequencer on the Nintendo DSi, but it also is a powerful tool for live performance.

Shinect 0.3 alpha test with FL Studio
Just a quick and dirty demo of Shinect 0.3 alpha on FL Studio.
Shinect is a midi controller that uses Kinect. It’s based on the OpenNI library and written in C++.
You can use 3 axies on both hands to send MIDI data, plus virtual midi pads that you can display on top of the video. It’s also multi-user (2 persons or more in front of the camera)

This is demo of the W-2, as used by Kraftwerk, Van Der Graaf Generator, The Mothers, Wayne Shorter, and MANY other greats! The delay is added (for effect). NOTE: The high-end digital noise (aliasing) in the audio seems to be an anomaly of the video compression.
