Sound design with Alchemy and NeKo
Below is a nice video tutorial featuring the classic virtual instrument; Camel Audio Alchemy. The video is also interesting since sound designer Jim Stout is running Alchemy via an Open Labs Neko and the video gives you a good sense of how this system works. NeKo XXL is virtually all of the major components of a professional studio fused together in seamless, coherent instrument that is the quintessential definition of style and functionality. You can compose, record, mix, master and even distribute music of the highest quality only using the NeKo XXL and the tens of thousands of included sound presets.
Teach yourself on Synthesia
Synthesia, formerly called Piano Hero, is a free program plus game that teaches you to play the piano using visual cues like falling notes. Don’t worry if you can’t read sheet music, because you require none. Synthesia lets you learn to play the keyboard and also keep track of your progress.
To use Synthesia you will require a real piano or synthesizer, a Windows or Mac computer to run the game and MIDI files of the music you want to practice. There are plenty of free MIDI resources on the web. If your synthesizer is capable of connecting to your computer (via USB, MIDI cables, or an adapter) then Synthesia can read as you play and score your playing. If not, Synthesia lets you follow along on your own but without scoring.

Loop recording on KAOSSILATOR
This video is an all-around introduction to playing and recording with the KAOSSILATOR PRO.
Loop Recording with unlimited overdubbing
Loop Recording can be set for up to four measures /16 beats. Your KAOSSILATOR PRO musical performances can be recorded into one of the Loop Recorder Banks. By adding (overdubbing) additional sounds one at a time, you can create amazing loop phrases by repeating the cycle of selecting a sound, playing a phrase, and recording the sound over and over again.
Four Loop Recording Banks allow DJ-style performances
The KAOSSILATOR PRO provides four Loop Recording Banks. These banks can be combined for virtually infinite performance possibilities. Each of the four loop banks can host infinite overdubs. In addition, each bank can be muted or un-muted, its volume adjusted, and its loop length changed, making dynamic live performances easy for anyone. An unneeded loop can be erased during playback, and a new one recorded, so there’s no need to stop the performance.
Loop Recording using an external source
The KAOSSILATOR PRO provides line inputs and a mic input, allowing loop recording using an external audio source. This makes it easy to add a rap, vocal, or audio from an external device to any loop phrase created on the KAOSSILATOR PRO.

Synthmaking for fun! Using Maximization w/ Reverb
This site really has some good Reason 4 tutorials I can recommend. I have inserted a sample below, but there are many more at the orginal site, go check it out.
Showing some quick tweak advice + demonstrating the use of a maximizer to accentuate the output of a reverbed synth sound.
