I’m happy to show you some features of Vermona’s new module “fourMulator”. It’s a Quad Digital LFO & Gate-Generator. It contains 4 equal LFOs with 6 waveforms each: Sine, Tri, Saw, Ramp, Pulse and S&H. Units 2, 3 and 4 are clockable or phaseable (!) to LFO1 or the next one to the left. Furthermore you will find beside the Wave-Out: CV-In, Reset-In and Gate-Out (full cycle).

TANSU – new modular synth with the sounds of YMO
Developer Music Airport has released a new virtual analog modular synthesizer for iOS, TANSU.
The sounds that were sampled and used for the VCO (Voltage Controlled
Oscillator) come from the actual “TANSU” owned by Hideki Matsutake (Yellow Magic Orchestra, Logic System).
Primary Functions:
- LOGIC BOX – Sound effects such as Shepard Tone and rhythms from music by LOGIC SYSTEM
- have been made directly into the sound source.
- MUSIC – You can use your iPhones own music library as a sound source. (However,
- certain tracks which are covered under DRM may not be used).
- Microphone function – You can use sounds which have been recorded with microphone.
- Preset function – You can explore the potential of the TANSU Synth from various demo patterns. Moreover, it can be utilized as a tutorial for beginners.
- VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator), VCF (Voltage Controlled Filter), VCA
- (Voltage Controlled Amplifier), LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator), EG (Envelope
- Generator)
- Enhance the basic functionality of an analog synthesizer. (Various sound
- processing is possible.)
- 2 channel 8 step analog sequencer!
- Connect patch cord to create original sounds
- Three sound sources can be mixed by a three-channel mixer

Random Looping Sequencer
Here’s a demo of the Random Looping Sequencer DIY module. This patch features the RLS’ seq out multed to uscale in and envelator gate in. envelator out to borg 1… borg out to mixer and into camera. The sound source is the uncle & anti osc tripple wave folded and filtered with the z2040 and ems synthi filter clone.
The Random Sequencer is a circuit that produces random control voltages. These can be completely random, or they can be locked into loops that repeat every 8, 16 or 32 steps. It was inspired by the long history of shift register pseudorandom synth circuits, including the Triadex Muse, Buchla 266 Source of Uncertainly, Ken Stone’s gated comparator and Grant Richter’s Noisering. This circuit includes a transistor noise generator, so should create true random binary sequences. However, the structure of the sequencer and the nature of the digital-to-analog converter used seem to give a particular character – tones that rise and fall in a particular way.
