Live recorded jam session; mainly to demonstrate some analog/hybrid synths.
“Unfortunately since I had only 1 hand free I couldn’t tweak that much realtime and also had to move fast on switching between synths, so there might be some delays. Only pre-recorded tracks were the drums and the synth midi tracks, which was basically 1 loop. This is not a worked-out track, but maybe I will do so one day 
No effects used, only some minor mastering/compression on the total mix.”

Tweaking a few knobs with the Moog Sub Phatty… using mainly lower register sounds. I wasn’t very creative with it because nothing was planned. Playing random licks in C minor (mostly) and randomly tweaking the knobs.
I’m planning on making new videos like this (but smaller!) that show a few special features of this great instrument.
Creating music with Moog Rogue, Roland Alpha Juno 2, and Doepfer A-100 synths

This is a two step sequence using the ef303.
I am using the doepfer quantizer, the clock sequencer and two envelopes on the filter (adsr and ar) to make it come allive.The ar generator is triggerd by the clocksequencer and the adsr is triggerd by the ef303.
And i also use some delay .
And i jam along on the rouge and juno.
Studio Electronics Code 8 Moog Filter
Source Code Unknown , a song made only with sounds from the Studio Electronics Code 8 analog synthesizer. Also only the Moog filter is used on this song.
Note: The song is included on the second Firechild album Beyond The Stars released April 2013.
Closer look at the R.A. Moog 701 Drum Synthesizer
In 1970 Bob Moog built for Eric Siday an electronic drum synthesizer with the following modules:
– 701Drum Synthesizer
– 702 Percussion Synthesizer
– 903 Noise
– 912 Enveloppe Follower
– Programmer
– Wheels encoder
– Keyboard controller
The 701 and 702 modules are prototypes never and went in production.
It seems that there are some missing modules from the original configuration.
This unique system is owned now by the ” Museum of music”
located in Paris France.
About Eric Siday
Eric siday was born in the suburb of London in 1905.
When he was 14 he received the Prosper Sainton scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music, London.
His first steady bread was playing for the “local cinema” silent movies.
He was composer and arranger and realized musics for commercials and jingles for radios ( ABC / CBS / Pepsi cola / American express )
In 1947 he composed a violin concerto in the “Bop” Jazz idiom.
He created his own recording studio (surely one of the first home studio).
In the middle 50’s, he was aware of electronic music – John Cage (the prepared piano) and the French Music Concrete .
He was the fisrt to apply electronics sounds in commercials .
He used : Ondes Martenot / Ondioline / Violon amplified / Céleste / Moog Modular
and this unique Moog Percussion synthesizer.
He was the second customer of Bob Moog and bring a great support to the Moog company.

Here is my first video of the “R.A. Moog 701 Drum Synthesizer”. I managed to get some sounds out of it – even though it was meant to *work* with the full “one-off” system as built by Bob in 1970. I think in the system it might behave a little more “drum-like”…!?! Ha!
