TouchControl – Multitouch Monome Emulator and Midi Controller
TouchControl Software Demonstration with nice Asian music influences 
TouchControl is a program that allows you to turn your Multi Touch display into a controller for audio or video software. What seperates TouchControl from other control applications is the inclusion of a Monome 40h emulator.
In this video I am using TouchControl with Ableton Live 8.
The midi faders have been assigned to track levels, scene triggers, and effects. The monome section is using osc messages to communicate with a max for live sequencer patch, which in turn is outputting midi notes to a drum rack.I wrote the software using python and the PyMT framework.

Beautiful space sounds coming out this little gadget!
Here were are trying out a couple presets on the incredible sounding Eventide Space reverb pedal. The first preset is “Size Matters” and the second is “Gigaroos”. Our source is the amazing Critter and Guitari Pocket Piano. Instantaneously you can create some super-groovy arpeggios and sequences. Depending of the setting one of the knobs will let you control the filter cutoff or the decay time. Sweet.

Facteur goes to the Big Apple with Data Airlines
Facteur, – a Marseilles-based electronic music producer who has been with Data Airlines since almost the beginning, has been touring and collaborating with Dubmood a lot over the years and has recently been very active with rock group Nasser, dubbed a French Soulwax- is back with a new opus.
A calmer and more minimalistic approach to the facteur-music we are used to, he takes us on a voyage through hinterland America in an orgies in simple rhythms and analogue synth-porn and Dubmood joins in on the two last tracks with a fitting Commodore 64 on Jacksonville and a complete Atari ST remix of Palm Desert wich flirts with late 80s cracktro music. NI abandons Kore
I think it was a great idea, but I guess not too many really understood it greatness. I feel that this kind of unified patch browser belongs more as an integrated part of an DAW, which is exactly what NI is doing (allthough NI hasn’t admitted making Maschine into a full DAW yet).
In order to utilize its development resources in the best interest of its wider userbase, Native Instruments has decided to discontinue the Kore product range.
As an immediate consequence, Kore 2 and all Kore-based instruments and effects will no longer be offered for sale. The Kore Player will also be no longer available for download.
The Kore 2 software will be supported through further maintenance updates for the time being. Two updates that will optimize the compatibility with current setups are currently in preparation: The first update will integrate the latest engine versions of Absynth 5, FM8, Guitar Rig 4, Massive, Kontakt 4 and Reaktor 5, and is scheduled for the third quarter of this year; a further update will provide 64bit plugin versions for Windows and Mac OS X, and is scheduled for the fourth quarter.
Technical support for Kore will also continue to be available.
Future versions of the Komplete bundle and of individual NI instruments might no longer be fully compatible with Kore, and will not include special preset versions for its sound browser.
Development resources will be refocused from Kore to Maschine and its popular instrument hosting features. Maschine will be enhanced with specific preset management and parameter mapping features for Komplete and individual NI instruments in the upcoming free 1.7 update, and will be further expanded in its role as the central NI instruments host in the future.
Owners of the full versions of Kore 1 or Kore 2 (excluding software-only versions) who are interested in Maschine can purchase a special crossgrade price of $449 / €399 until the end of the year.
