Happy 2012 everyone. Updated “Shake the Disease” version, more 101 oriented. Yes, I used Alan original samples in my EMAX II 
The sample allocation is the same alan used on tour.
You can find some mistakes as this was recorded at the first take, first time I played the whole track (once assigned samples and levels).

Nice new free phaser effect plugin – Phazor
Adam Szabo has released Phazor, a is a free phaser effect plugin for Windows.
Phazor is a free effect plugin, which emulates the phaser effect found in the Virus synthesizers, which helped make its characteristic sound. A lot of time was devoted to make it sound very close to the original and every control has been carefully adjusted to behave just like the phaser from the Virus.
It has selectable 1 to 6 stage all-pass filters controlled by an LFO, with spread and feedback controls. The plugin is highly optimized and its CPU usage is minimal, allowing for multiple instances to be used in a project.
Phazor is avaialble to download as a freeware VST effect plugin for Windows.

Why are the roads so empty?
About the video:
A few days ago I made this 12 note based sequence track with the Doepfer Dark Time.
I used a 3 oscillator tone of the Waldorf Micro Q (two triangles and one sinus) in a very basic setting (and I think that is the power of a Waldorf because you can do very well basic synth tones as complicated pads for example) and a base tone of the Moog LP. During the track the sounds are tweaked. The solo came from the Korg DS-8, it is a preset with a long echo and with a pitch change in the end of the envelope. It is not one of my best tracks but just a tweak with my setup. Neverthelss enjoy listening.
The vid is made during my trip to my work (yes, on a very quit chrismas holiday day) on a highway round Amsterdam at 06:30 in the morning.

Der Film zeichnet die Geschichte der Elektronischen Musik in Deutschland nach – über Portraits von vier repräsentativen Studios:
das WDR Studio für Elektronische Musik in Köln
das Experimentalstudio des SWR in Freiburg
das Institut für Musik & Akustik im ZKM Karlsruhe
das Elektronische Studio der TU Berlin
Zu Wort kommen künstlerische und technische Leiter der Studios, welche die technische Entwicklung, den Wandel der kompositorischen und technischen Ästhetik, die Zusammenarbeit zwischen technischen Mitarbeitern und Komponisten sowie die Zukunftsperspektive der Studios aus ihrer Sicht darstellen.
Anschließend sind die Zuschauer zu einer Podiumsdiskussion unter dem Titel „Zukunft des WDR Studios für Elektronische Musik” eingeladen, die der Frage nach der Zukunft der Elektronischen Musik und des WDR-Studios nachgeht.
