A first composition with Animoog 2 and my Eigenharp Alpha.
I’m using a single sound patch in Animoog that totally changes based on how I touch the keys on the Eigenharp. The sound ranges from something akin to a polyphonic theremin to percussive glass sparkles as well as everything in between. This patch was based on one of Animoog’s Acoustic Expansion Pack patches.

Animoog 2 has improved its MIDI handling tremendously and together with an iConnectMIDI interface, I’m able to send the Eigenharp expression data to Animoog at full rate without any decimation. Creating and playing music with Animoog is now a very emotional experience. Currently this only reacts to polyphonic aftertouch, but I’m hopeful that Moog might ultimately add full support for Voice-Per-Channel MIDI, maybe even at 14-bit resolution.
Animoog sounds amazing to me and is amongst the top software synths I’ve played.

Doepfer Dark Energy Mk I vs Mk II
A quick comparison between Doepfer Dark Energy Mk I (CEM-based, just lopass w. lin fm) and Mk II (state variable filter, discrete circuit, etc.). Both machines under the same CV/Gate control from Dark Time step sequencer (courtesy of a bunch of multiples…). Mk I is panned more on Left audio channel; Mk II is more on Right audio channel. When they plays together, its a real GAS!!!
Acces Virus C (Indigo 2) Synthesizer Demo – Dreamy ambient sinewave music
Playing a simple music box-like melody on Access Virus C (Indigo 2) synth using 2 sine wave oscillators, minor reverb, resonance/filter adjustments and sustained envelope release. The Indigo 2 packs the same great synth engine found in the Virus C into a ‘Roadster’ style compact keyboard designed after the original Virus Indigo. The new Indigo 2 comes equipped with a new front-panel, a 3-octave keyboard with Aftertouch, aluminum side panels and even more blue LEDs! The Indigo 2 packs power, portability and the legendary Virus sound into an awesome looking synth! It has been used by Richard Barbieri.
