Going through a couple of my gesture variations for the Stutter Edit plug-in. Using only one instance for this example and processing a single drum loop with no other plug-ins. The gesture effects are triggered by a M-Audio Oxygen-8 MIDI keyboard while changing to different banks in real-time.

The soundtrack of the video trailer has been exclusively done with OP-X PRO-II and Steinberg Groove Agent for drums. No external effects or treatment (except for drums) have been used, mixing just included levels and pan. All involved sounds are factory presets of OP-X PRO-II.

The BumChum is an “Amplified Tactile Generator Monitor System” which turns the bass drum – or any other signal – into a physical thump up through the drum stool.
This thump is registered through bone conduction.
The BumChum consists two parts: a drum throne top containing a Tactile Generator, and a flight-cased Engine containing all of the electronics.

- The BumChum Engine offers full control of power and intensity.
- It is also very sensitive, so it will faithfully replicate playing dynamics.
- It will respond to long notes (beater off) as well as short notes (beater on), depending on drum dampening, tuning, and playing style.
