Suicide Commando to release double-CD

Seminal terror EBM act Suicide Commando will release a new album, Implements of Hell, January 26 on Metropolis Records. Implements of Hell will be available in two versions: a standard CD edition and a limited edition featuring a bonus CD with remixes from Leæther Strip, Komor Kommando, Modulate, Xotox, Centhron and more. Suicide Commando will also be playing several dates in Germany in December; visit the links for more information and a current concert schedule.

Neotek release album and DVD

Long-running Danish EBM group Neotek will release a new album, Sex, Murder, and Rock ‘n’ Roll, November 27 on Black Rain Records. The first pressing of the new album will come packaged with a DVD featuring live material, music videos and slide shows from such Neotek side projects as Good Courage and PTZ. Although Neotek have been active since 1993, the new album is only their second full-length release, although all three members have been active with numerous side projects.

Filmed in 1994 – but not edited until 2004 by André Stæhr. Classic EBM track from the first incarnation of Neotek. Original version on the album Brain Over Muscle deluxe edition. More info on www.neotek.dk

And One release concert album and DVD

And One will release a concert DVD and album, both simply titled Live, October 30 on Out of Line Music. The DVD edition features two discs of material, including 55 live songs recorded from 2004-2008, plus every music video the band has ever released and a complete concert filmed in 1989. The CD version features two discs and 38 songs. Both versions of Live are available separately for pre-order from the Out of Line Music Web site.

Assemblage 23 to tour Europe, release album and single

Electronic act Assemblage 23 has announced European tour dates for February 2010 in support of the new album, Compass, and its accompanying single, Spark, which will be released September 25 in Europe on Accession Records and is already available in North America. Assemblage will perform in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, and other countries. Assemblage 23 founder Tom Shear has also made announcements to promoters seeking booking for North American shows. Follow the links for details.

Gary Numan and The Human League headline Sinner’s Day fest in Belgium

Sinner’s Day is the name of a one-day festival in Hasselt Ethias Arena, Belgium on All Saints Day, November 1. The line-up looks like this: The Human League, Gary Numan, Front 242, Anne Clark, Psychedlic Furs, The Neon Judgement, Bollock Brothers and Lydia Lunch. Peter Hook (New Order) and DJ Andy Rourke (The Smiths) will DJ and there will be a “Camden Market”.
