Check out the Crazy Box
The crazy box has 10 inputs and 10 outputs, which in this video go out to 10 amplifiers. A photoresistor on each channel controls the signal levels. This is why the audio levels rises when the room lights are turned on. In other words, the more light, the louder the sound. Circuit bent devices are plugged into the 10 inputs. With the room lights off, you can use a flashlight to turn up the levels on individual channels. Videography be Andy Ben.
Short improvisation featuring the Phaedra
Short improvisation. Yamaha CP80B, DSI TETR4, Korg Monotribe, Eventide Space and TimeFactor, Doepfer modular, Roland RE-201. Sequenced from Naught Panther Phaedra running on an iPad.
“Since there will be an inevitable question, I’ll go ahead and say now that the CP-80B is running through the TimeFactor and Space, and the Space is set to its Shimmer algorithm. These are the only effects on the piano. … Anyhow, sequenced by Phaedra, as is proper for music like this.” – Chris Randall
Forgotten Zither
A little piece of music composed entirely of the sounds available in the forgotten zither toolkit – coming soom from echo collective.

Die Tiefe (Dense Forest experimental instrument)
“Minimalism pure, but not in the length 😉
Basicly this track should be only a basic track for a new song, but when i listen and listen and listen i always think that’s well as it is for deep relaxion. Maybe only a few of you will view the whole clip without falling asleep 😉
Thr Dense Forest is an experimental instrument which i got via etsy.com. I connected it only to the Jomox T-Resonator which is running in a self-oszillating status. That’s all. Only the later starting noise comes from my A-100 System.”

CEM Filter and Modcan 54B Sequencer demo
This is a quickie demo of the Modcan CEM Low Pass Filter, model 29A. The video was shot under bad lighting conditions that QuickTime had trouble compensating for. Sorry about the image quality, but it is, after all, more about the sound 😉
Dual VDO provides the input sound, cutoff, resonance, vc of resonance and self-resonance, and the difference between 0 and -12dB modes are shown/heard.
Primarily intended for the audience at Muff Wiggler forum.
This is a quick video demo of the Modcan 54B Sequencer, along with the 53B clock and various other modules in a supporting role.

iOS audio processing graph demonstration
“An audio processing graph is a Core Foundation opaque type, AUGraph, that you use to construct and manage an audio unit processing chain. A graph can leverage the capabilities of multiple audio units and multiple render callback functions, allowing you to create nearly any audio processing solution you can imagine.” – From Apple’s “Audio Unit Hosting Guide For iOS”
AudioGraph is a superset of Apple’s MixerHost application.
Features include:
* Mono and stereo mic/line input
* Audio effects including:
o Ring modulator
o FFT passthrough using the Accelerate vDSP framework.
o Real-time variable pitch shifting and detection using STFT
o Simple variable speed delay using a ring buffer
o Recursive moving average filter with variable number of points
o Convolution example with variable filter cutoff frequency
* Stereo level meter
* Synthesizer example – sine wave with an envelope generator
* iOS 5 features (from Chris Adamson) including:
o MIDI sampler audio unit
o file player audio unit
o audio unit effects
* Runs on iPad, iPhone, and iPod-Touch
* Basic audio session management including detection of input devices and available channels
* Commented source code.
* Original music by Van Lawton
* Plus everything from MixerHost
Requirements:
* A device that runs iOS 5.x
* Headphones.
Instructions:
Launch the app and press Play.
