Sneak preview! Michael Moog has produced a brand new track for the 17 year old TMG Recording artist Cierra Ramirez exclusively using the Bitleyâ„¢ Fairlight Platinum ReFill for Reason 6. He contacted us about it and gave us exclusive rights to publish a sneak preview of the video in order to be able to spread the word on the refill, which he adores. This video is not listed publicly on YouTube.
Cierra Ramirez will be starring in the Lionsgate feature movie (motion picture) Girl In Progress with Eva Mendez going up on cinemas May 11, 2012. The track (and this video) will be official sometime after this.
The track is a response to Echoes Of Silence by The Weekend.
Michael Moog will possibly be providing a RPS version of the track which will be provided to all Fairlight Platinum license owners. Michael Moog is also currently producing the 90s pop act No Mercy and the Fairlight Platinum ReFill is being used there as well.

“Just messing around with a MFB-522, Moog Slim Phatty, Jomox Mbrane 11, Electro Harmonix Clap Track and Boss DM-100 delay.”
MFB-522 is a drum computer with a fully analogue sound engine that offers plenty of editing capabilities. It includes a step-sequencer with popular TR-style running-light-programming. Memory locations are available for 72 patterns as well as for 8 songs.
The step-sequencer allows programming of 72 basic patterns plus 72 fill-ins. The latter being associated to the basic pattern memory location, resulting in a two-bar-pattern when using the fill-in. Patterns can be combined to eight songs that each hold a user-definable sequence of up to 64 patterns. In addition to the instruments, a global accent-track is available. When set, the corresponding step will be played with a higher or lower volume-setting in comparison to the standard level. The MFB-522’s sequencer offers three different steps of shuffling. A stereo output will carry all instruments minus those where individual outputs are in use (bass drum, snare drum/rimshot, claps and Hihat). Using the MIDI-In, drum-sounds can be played with a keyboard or external sequencer. Here, the sound sources act velocity sensitive. Finally, MFB-522 can be synchronized to incoming MIDI-clock.

Moog has released an Expansion Pack for Animoog. They say that each Expansion Pack for Animoog contains powerful presets that inspire creativity as well as new timbres for creating sounds completely unique to you.
Created by Richard Devine, Moog tells us that the Devine Expansion Pack infuses an array of new and unique sounds into Animoog’s Anisotropic Synthesis Engine. They say that, from ethereal lead sounds to sci-fi insanity, the Devine expansion pack takes total advantage of Animoog’s uniquely expressive keyboard, modulation and timbre array.
The Devine Expansion Pack includes 32 original presets handcrafted by Richard Devine himself. Also included are 43 new Timbres nearly doubling Animoog’s sonic vocabulary.
