Tonebytes releases Lo-Fizer VST effect plug-in for Windows
Tonebytes lets us know that Lo-Fizer is a free VST effect plug-in for Windows, designed to add some nice lo-fi effects to your recordings for a variety of artistic techniques.
There are a total of 10 lo-fi devices which are decorated in a rack units:
- Vinyl – produces vinyl cracks and pops
- Hum – produces adjustable low frequency hum
- Hiss – produces warm adjustable high frequency hiss
- Monoizer – stereo to mono converter
- Speaker Sim – simple preset based speaker simulator
- Lo-Bit – bit-crasher simulator
- Crusher – resampler simulator
- Vowel – simple vowel filter
- GLS – vocal remover that uses mid-side technique
You can combine up to 4 devices in the rack. With just a few clicks you can select a combination of effects and create the desired sound.
The built-in preset manager makes it easy to save the settings and quickly access them or share them with other Lo-Fizer users.
In addition, VST automation and full MIDI Learning are supported.

AudioSpillage announces Elecktroid drum machine plugin
AudioSpillage has announced Elecktroid, a drum machine instrument plug-in for Mac OS X. A fusion of drum synth and and drum sampler with a custom designed rhythm sequencer.
Elecktroid combines drum synthesis, sample playback and step sequencer functionality in a single integrated package.
Elecktroid is a direct replacement for the MiniSpillage2 plugin which has now been discontinued. Customers who have already ordered MiniSpillage2 will automatically receive a full license for Elecktroid when released.

Array – new AudioUnit plugin for creating rhythmic spectral effects
SineVibes has introduced Array – an AudioUnit plugin for creating rhythmic spectral effects.
Array divides the input sound using 8 finely-tuned, smooth -36 dB/octave band-pass filters, and allows to sequence each frequency band individually.
What can it do?
- Completely reconstruct and transform drum and percussion loops.
- Turn synths, basses, pads or pretty much any static sound into spectrally and rhythmically rich new material.

TAL-U-NO-LX – new Juno-60 synth emulation plugin
Togu Audio Line has announced the TAL-U-NO-LX, a new Juno-60 emulation with a fully rewritten new engine and GUI.
Up to date zero feedback delay filters and carefully calibrated controls make this synth a good replacement for the analog device with all the advantages software plugins have. It’s even possible to recreate old Juno patches from an existing patch sheet. As an addition, the TAL_U-NO-LX also supports portamento and different LFO waveforms and some more useful features. An arpeggiator with different sync modes and hold function is also included.
This new version will also be available as 64bit OSX AU and VST plugin. It was hard to calibrate a synth that has different envelope times on every voice, but we even copied this to some degree
