MauSynth is a polyphonic analog-modeling substractive synthesizer VST plugin by Pekka Kauppila. You can create all sorts of awesome sounds with it.

TouchOSC and iPod Touch control AudioCubes through Max/MSP
AudioCubes in action:
We created an FM synthesizer for the AudioCubes (http://www.percussa.com) in max/msp. This application allows you to make sounds with the AudioCubes without needing any additional applications or hardware. The software consists of several oscillators which can be connected to each other to create an FM synthesizer.
To change the parameters of these oscillators, we’ve made a template in TouchOSC. In this video, I’m running TouchOSC on my iPod Touch to easily changes these parameters. Through this TouchOSC template I can also change the colors of each of these 4 AudioCubes.

Syncersoft tells us that the freeware Lizard Morph is a detune and morph effect designed to deliver the powerful, penetrating sounds favoured by trance musicians. They say that it’s ideal for use in trance, dance, techno, dubstep, electronica, drum n bass, big beat, dub, reggae and all other styles. The LFO modulation section was designed specially for Dubstep but Syncersoft says that it can be used in other styles too.

My Doepfer modular is playing the bassline using the A-105 low pass filter, and the flanged pad is a Prophet-08 going through a TC Electronics Nova Modulator pedal. Lead is on my beloved Minimoog OS through a Mad professor Tiny Orange Phaser and an Electro-Harmonic Memory Boy.”
