Darker Digital has released Kickboxer for Kontakt 5.
Kickboxer is designed around the sound of analog 808 drum machines processed with high end outboard gear – designed to deliver punchy transients and analog overtones.
On top of an analog 808 kit, Kickboxer includes many other analog drum and digital synth bass sounds. Kickboxer’s internal step sequencer features a piano roll for basslines, a gated reverb and other sequenced effects.
The GUI also includes controls for transistor and tube distortion, tape saturation, a ladder filter, a convolution reverb and a bus compressor.

‘A Box In The Sea’ explores using gestural control with a Leap Motion and Ableton Push as controllers for Reaktor and a modular synthesizer.
Starting with a beautiful sound from the Braids and Morphing Terrarium. Sampled with the Phonogene and processed through the Echophon/ZDSP/Big Sky/EPSi. The Piano is Reaktor and a water sample played together. The beginning atmosphere is KORE2 animated circuits. The Leap is controlling all the modulation in Reaktor, Big Sky and KORE2.

scttr – free collision-based arpeggiator on iOS
scttr is a collision-based arpeggiator. Placing pulse emitters in a 2D plane enables you to intuitively create and manipulate rhythmic structures, ranging from simple patterns to polyrhythmic mayhem. Subtle parameter changes can result in startling, sometimes unpredictable results, while always maintaining sonic coherence.
It was designed as a creative software instrument/sound generator for live performances and improvisational modular setups.
The PRO version will feature MIDI support, control over sound parameters and advanced particle control parameters.

First jam using the Yamaha Tenori-on as a MIDI sequencer. The iPad (running Cubasis) and the iRig MIDI are working only as MIDI router and interface.
