Saw & Pulse wave from Rocket Waldorf; different PW, hard sync, harmonization, hypersaw behavior. The filter is Lo-Band-Hi resonante, with a prefilter Boost stage.
A short run on Waldorf Rocket arpeggiator patterns. A lot of interesting combinations and permutations. Arpeggiator can be put under external MIDI Clock.

Weekend electronic music videos for your listening pleasure
Perhaps one of the best unknown covers of Kraftwerk’s 1977 classic Europe Endless by Italian maestro Laso67. https://www.youtube.com/user/laso67
Steve Strange parody – Some scenes from Visage’s videos re-en-visage-d, very clever. ”Imitation is the greatest form of flattery” (even when it’s ‘dressed up’) – remade scenes have come from Visage/Fade to Grey …Visage/Visage……any more spotted let me know

Analogue Systems RS-390 Echo Demo
Background video description:
I seem to have acquired a lot of eurorack delays. So I thought, let’s make some demos. These are however a lot of work. I also note I have a lot of dust on my modular! But anyway: here is the first: a demo of the Analogue Systems RS-390 echo (digital delay). I got bored with filming the synth itself, so I added a few shots of the vegetable patch on my balcony … Probably next demo will be the Pittsburgh Analog Delay. But don’t hold you breath, this may take a while.
Any suggestions for other patches to try are welcome.
Experiment with the percussion box by Electro Lobotomy and MakeNoise Shared System
Experiment with the percussion box by Electro Lobotomy and MakeNoise Shared System. Sending CV/Gate triggers from the percussion box by hitting the metal rods to alter the timbres. Audio sources are just the sine wave outputs from the MakeNoise DPO and two intelljel dixie’s running into two Optomix’s. The two outputs are then is sent into the Echophon and phonogene then through the eventide space pedal. The output signal from the percussion box is running into the Gainsburg VCA then from there into the Mungo g0 granular processing module creating the crispy high end granulated textures.
Techno demo featuring the MT-40, EM-1, DrumStation and ST-224
Here is a demo Jordan Passmore created with the Korg Electribe EM-1, Casio MT-40, Novation Drumstation, and Zoom SampleTrak ST-224. The EM-1 is doing the sequencing + bass/short stab sound + some percussion, the Casio is doing the square-wave lead tones, the Novation is doing the 909/808ish sounds and the SampleTrak is simply effecting the Casio with it’s effects section (I will do a more exhaustive demo of the SampleTrak soon). The Casio is also being ran through a stereo analog chorus and analog delay. There is some compression done with a Roland MMP-2 on the master channel. The entire segment was mixed on a Tascam M-1600 mixing desk.

SoundWorks Collection – The Sound and Music of Oblivion
In this exclusive SoundWorks Collection profile we talk with visionary Director Joe Kosinski about the sound and music of his new film “Oblivion”. Also featured are Kosinski’s behind-the-scenes collaborators include Composer Joseph Trapanese, M83’s Anthony Gonzalez, and Re-recording Mixer Gary Rizzo, and Re-recording Mixer Juan Peralta.
Tom Cruise stars in Oblivion, an original and groundbreaking cinematic event from the visionary director of TRON: Legacy and producers of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. On a spectacular future Earth that has evolved beyond recognition, one man’s confrontation with the past will lead him on a journey of redemption and discovery as he battles to save mankind. 2077: Jack Harper (Cruise) serves as a security repairmen stationed on an evacuated Earth. Part of a massive operation to extract vital resources after decades of war with a terrifying alien threat who still scavenges what’s left of our planet, Jack’s mission is almost complete.
In a matter of two weeks, he will join the remaining survivors on a lunar colony far from the war-torn world he has long called home. Living in and patrolling the breathtaking skies from thousands of feet above, Jack’s soaring existence is brought crashing down after he rescues a beautiful stranger from a downed spacecraft. Drawn to Jack through a connection that transcends logic, her arrival triggers a chain of events that forces him to question everything he thought he knew. With a reality that is shattered as he discovers shocking truths that connect him to Earth of the past, Jack will be pushed to a heroism he didn’t know he contained within. The fate of humanity now rests solely in the hands of a man who believed our world was soon to be lost forever.
