December 27, 2010 · Posted in Uncategorized · 1 Comment

The results of the Side-Line Music Awards 2010 are in. Yes, it did take us a few days more than we had originally planned. But then again, we never imagined getting stuck in London and Brussels the past week due to the unexpected harsh winter conditions circling over Europe. We spent the last two days counting the votes and deleting the invalid ones. So what is the Audioprom really?

December 27, 2010 · Posted in Uncategorized · Comments Off on So what is the Audioprom really?

Audioprom is an audio sequencer and live performance application for the iPad.

“We just launched Audioprom, a super intuitive audio sequencer app for the iPad. Audioprom doesn’t look or feel like other iPad sequencers out there because it doesn’t simulate popular physical interfaces from 90’s drum machines. We built it from the ground up for the multitouch screen.

It’s been a labor of love. We built it because we wanted it for ourselves and now we hope others might like it enough to buy it so we get to keep working on it.

We posted some how-to and demo videos at audioprom.cwandt.com.

We are CW&T, a Brooklyn based art and design duo. We make hard and soft things for fun and to feed ourselves. This is our first go at an iPad app. cwandt.com

Free music from The Kick

December 26, 2010 · Posted in Uncategorized · Comments Off on Free music from The Kick

Swedish electronic rock artist The Kick (David Sundqvist) gives away his new album “Anomalies” for free as a Christmas gift. The album will be available from December 24 at www.thekick.net. The Kick is signed to SubSpace Communications, released the album “Metal Heart” in 2009 and is preparing another album for 2011 as well. “Anomalies” contains previously unreleased songs.

– I had a couple of songs that didn’t make it on to the first record, mainly because they didn’t fit the mood of the album, David says.
